Resolution for Community Landscaping Partnership
Program
REQUEST:
Adoption of a resolution for a community roadside landscaping partnership
program and authorizing the application and contact person for the joint
City/MnDOT Veteran's Memorial project on Highway 10 from Oxford Avenue
to 5th Street.
BACKGROUND:
The City of Elk River is the sponsor for the Elk River Veteran's Memorial
project. The project is located on Highway 10 from Oxford Avenue to 5th
Street. Phil Hals is authorized to apply to the Minnesota Department of
Transportation for funding of this project.
MnDOT requires that a resolution be adopted and submitted with the
application.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Council motion adopting the attached Resolution for a Community Roadside
Landscaping Partnership Program.

RESOLUTION
IT IS RESOLVED that the City of Elk River enter into Mn/DOT Agreement No. 80151 with the
State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes:
To provide for payment by the State to the City for the acquisition of landscape materials to be
placed along and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 10 from Oxford Avenue Northwest to Fifth
Street within the corpOrate City limits under State Project No. 7102-969A (T.H. 10=003).
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the
authorized to execute the Agreement.
