Premise Permit Renewal for Elk River Youth Hockey
REQUEST:
The request is for a 2-year premise permit renewal which allows the
operation of Charitable Gambling (pull-tabs) at Dick's Riverfront Bar. The
permit will run from 6/30/2000 - 6/30/2002.
APPLICANT:
Elk River Youth Hockey
BACKGROUND:
Elk River Youth Hockey has met the city's requirement of spending 75% of
the lawful expenditures in the city's trade area. (see attached "Expenditure of
Funds.") The trade area consists of the cities of Elk River, Rogers,
Zimmerman, Otsego, and Ramsey.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Council Motion adopting the attached resolution granting renewal of the
premise permit for Elk River Youth Hockey to operate charitable gambling a
Dick's Riverfront Bar.

A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PREMISE PERMIT RENEWAL FOR THE
ELK RIVER YOUTH HOCKEY
WHEREAS, the Elk River Youth Hockey has made application to the Minnesota
Gambling Control Board for a Premise Permit Renewal; and
WHEREAS, the Premises Permit will allow charitable gambling on the premises of
Dick's Riverfront Bar and Grill located at 651 Main Street; and
WHEREAS,
the Elk River Youth Hockey has met the City's requirement of
spending 75% of its lawful expenditures within the City's trade area
during the past two years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota grants a Premise Permit to Elk River Youth Hockey
to allow charitable gambling operations at Dick's Riverfront Bar and
Grill located at 651 Main Street.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 8th day of May,
2000.
