SUBJECT: Application for Exempt Gambling Permit for Elk River
Chamber of Commerce
REQUEST:
· Exempt Gambling Permit for a raffle on July 4, 2000.
· Waive the 30-day waiting period.
Waiving the waiting period allows the State to approve the permit
immediately and would allow the Chamber to begin selling raffle tickets as
soon as possible.
APPLICANT:
Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce
ACTION REQUESTED:
Council motion approving an Exempt Gambling Permit for a raffle as
requested by the Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce and waiving of the
30-day waiting period.
