REQUEST:
Premise Permit Renewal for Elk's Quarterback Club to operate charitable
gambling at Timeout Sport's Bar.

Elk's Quarterback Club
BACKGROUND:
The Elk's Quarterback Club has requested to renew their Premise Permit to
allow charitable Gambling (pull tabs) at Timeout Sports Bar. As you can see
by the attached "Expenditure of Funds" chart, the Quarterback Club has met
the city's requirement of spending 75% of its lawful expenditures within the
city's trade area during the past two years.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Motion by Council adopting the attached premises permit resolution for the
Elks Quarterback Cub

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PREMISE PERMIT RENEWAL FOR
THE ELK'S QUARTERBACK CLUB
WHEREAS,
The Elk's Quarterback Club has made application to the
State Gambling Control Board for a Premises Permit
Renewal; and,
WHEREAS,
the Premise Permit will allow charitable gambling on the
premises of Timeout Sports Bar located at 19232 Evans
Street in the City of Elk River; and,
WHEREAS,
The Elk's Quarterback Club has met the city's requirement
of spending 75 percent of its lawful expenditures within the
city's trade area during the past two years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River, Minnesota that a Premise Permit be granted to the Elk's
Quarterback Club to allow charitable gambling operations at Timeout Sport's
Bar, located at 19232 Evans Street, Elk River, Minnesota.
Passed and adopted this 22nd day of May 2000.
