Action Requested
Approve,by motion, a private kennel license to Shana Hein, 18681 Cleveland Street, to keep seven dogs,
valid until December 31, 2015.
Background/Discussion
Shana Hein has applied for a private kennel license in order to keep seven dogs. Ms. Hein has submitted
all the necessary application materials and has successfully completed a kennel inspection by the Police
Department. Kennels are inspected annually prior to renewal of the license to ensure the applicant is
meeting the requirement of the ordinance pertaining to private kennels.
A Conditional Use Permit is not required for this license because the property is at least five buildable
acres in the Rla zoning district. The Hein's have 10 acres.
