An Ordinance Amending Section, 58-37, entitled "Containers" of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, City Code.
The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That § 58-37 (d) of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances shall be amended to
read as follows:
(d) Placement for collection. Where an alley open to traffic is available, each container for
premises abutting the alley shall be placed at the rear of the property next to the alley. Where
no alley exists, the container shaU be plaeed near- the rear- doer of the bt�4di" to Whieh i
re4ates d shall be placed on the driveway one (1) foot behind the curb/street edge
with a minimum of three (3) feet between containers. Containers shall be kept away
from walls, fences, vehicles, and low -hanging tree limbs. at the ftent propert-y line
Containers shall not be so placed before 7:00 p.m. the night before
collection and shall be removed by 7:00 p.m. the day of collection: and the container shall
be stored out of sight from neighboring properties and the street.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption and be published as provided by
law.
