Overview
The applicant is requesting to rezone certain properties in the Commercial Reserve Transition (CRT)
zoning district to Extreme Commercial Recreation (XCR). The XCR zoning district (OA 15-04) was
reviewed as part of the overall application package.
Background/Discussion
As reviewed in the Ordinance and Land Use Amendments (OA 15-04&LU 15-03) earlier, a new zoning
district, along with a land use amendment,was requested in order to accommodate the applicant's long
term vision for their properties.
Those proposed amendments and the gravel area mining plan support the zone change request.
Planning Commission
The Planning Commission reviewed this application at their June 23, 2015 meeting. No concerns were
raised by the commission regarding the request. The public hearing was opened and continued to the
July 14, 2015 meeting.
