SUBJECT: Recent Hiring of Part Time Workers
We have just completed our fourth week with the part time City employees cleaning City
Hall, Utilities office, the Public Safety Building, Lions Park Center, Fire Station #1, Waste
Water Treatment office and the Street/Park office. Except fo~ a few glitches, things seem to
be going well. One of out intended pan time cleaners accepted another job, so we hked
four part time custodians, Melanie Wilson, Lloyd Van Vleet, Mike Lynch and Linda
No~luist. Our cleaning staff is supervised by Edwin "Butch" Pelarski, Building Maintenance
Assistant.
In addition, the Street/Park Department has hired the summer employees for the park and
athletic field maintenance. Five of the seven employees have sim'ted work as of May 17~'
and the remaining two will start as soon as school is out. Our new summer part time
employees are Melissa Gmth, Justin Nikle, Derek Holman, Mike Beckstrand and Edward
Fisher. Returning from last year, Sara Hopko and Paul Kohler.
