RES 15-39Resolution IS- 39 A Resolution of the City of Elk River amending the Comprehensive Plan to change the Land Use from Development Reserve/Mining/Residential to Highway Business/Mining WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2, prescribes the procedure for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on July 14, 2015 and recommended approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for the property generally described as: East of Highway 169 between the 215 s and 221" street alignments, Sherburne County, Minnesota WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request and finds the following: 1. The current use of the site is consistent with highway business and mining uses. 2. The proposed land use is consistent with the surround land uses. 3. The use would not have adverse impacts on the surrounding land uses. 4. The proposed changes are in general conformance to the adopted Comprehensive Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota, as follows: The Land Use Plan be amended to change the property as described above from Development Reserve/Mining/Residential to Highway Business/Mining Passed and adopted this 20`s day of July 2015. \i 11 ORION ATTEST: Tina Allard, City Clerk Port AfI 91 IJATURE
