5.2 ERN/1U 100 Year Celebration Table
Staff will host an Energy City table at the ERMU 100 Year Celebration on August 27th from
4:00 to 8:00, Discuss any ideas for the table as well as commissioners who may be able to

Andy Bergrud, Senior Engineering Project Manager for Great River Energy,will he
presenting on data collected from the three solar panel models located at the Great River
Energy headquarters.
8.2 Staff Updates
Staff will provide a meeting times update.
The Fleet Committee is not prepared to add an alternative fuel vehicle to the 2016 budget
but would like to partner with Energy City in the 2017 budget process. Should anyone know
about grants or funding opportunities available for fuel efficient vehicles and/or an electric
vehicle recharge stations please pass that information on to staff to be collected. See the
attached document regarding possible purchasing options.
The tour below is a small group and therefore is open to anyone who may wish to attend an
Energy City tour but has not had the opportunity to do so:

September 17th for Sl.YV l)owntown Minneapolis. This evcnt will focus on topics

GreenLights Recycling will be hosting an open house fo the 2O'' anniversary on September
10. Green Lights has recycled bulbs for the city's annual Clean Up Day in the past and this
is a great oypurtondry to see an area recycling business in action. See the attached flyer
