A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PREMISES PERMIT RENEWAL FOR
THE ELK RIVER LIONS CLUB
WHEREAS,
The Elk River Lions Club has made application to the State
Gambling Control Board for a Premises Permit Renewal;
and,
WHEREAS,
the Premises Permit will allow charitable gambling on the
premises of Broadway Bar and Pizza located at 16754
Highway 10 in the City of Elk River for the period of
September 1, 2004 to August 31, 2006; and,
WHEREAS,
The Elk River Lions Club has met the city's requirement of
spending 75 percent of its lawful expenditures within the
city's trade area during the past two years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River, Minnesota that a Premises Permit be granted to The Elk River
Lions Club to allow charitable gambling operations at Broadway Bar and
Pizza located at 16754 Highway 10 in the City of Elk River, Minnesota.
Passed and adopted this 14th day of June 2004.
