ACCEPT ROBERT NICKERSON'S
RESIGNATION FROM THE
HERITAGE PRESERVATION
COMMISSION (HPC)
Robert Nickerson is moving to Princeton, Minnesota and is no longer eligible to serve on
the city's Heritage Preservation Commission. His letter of resignation is attached to this
memo. Mr. Nickerson is extremely knowledgeable regarding Elk River's History. Staff
will be encouraging Mr. Nickerson to stay involved with the HPC as an unofficial
member.
Staff recommends that the Council accept Robert Nickerson's resignation from the
HPC. Staff will advertise this vacancy in the appropriate places and come back to the
Council at a future meeting with a list of candidates.
