Item #4.
The major landowner in this project, SteWart Wilson and his family, cannot
attend this August 7 meeting due to a previously planned vacation
commitment. Additionally, his attorney, Who was going to represent the
Wilson family at the meeting, has unfortunately experienced a death in his
family and will not be able to attend this f~ugust 7, 2000, meeting.
Accordingly, attached is a letter from Ste~vart requesting the continuation of
this agenda item until the August 14, 20Q0, City Council meeting.
As August 7 has been published as the public hearing date, it is appropriate
for the council to hear the report from th~ city engineer on the project and to
open the public hearing and receive any comments from the public. Following
this input the council should keep the pul Aic hearing open and continue the
public hearing on this agenda item until X_ugust 14, 2000.
