Proposed Allina Facility
Staff met with the project architect and civil engineer representing Allina on
Thursday, August 10, 2000, to discuss the proposed Allina facility. This facility is
proposed to be located in the southeast corner of the intersection of Waco Street
and Highway 10. The proposed Phase 1 will consist of 31,500 square feet;
approximately 10,500 square feet on three levels. An additional 24,000 square
foot Phase 2 is available, however, a specific time frame for construction of
Phase 2 was not identified. The main and second story levels are proposed to
be standard clinic uses, while the lower level will be for outpatient surgery
services.
Attached please find a preliminary site plan and building elevations for the
proposed building. The building is proposed to be constructed of brick, glass and
stucco. They are still in the process of fine tuning the exterior design of the
building.
It is the hope of Allina that they will break ground prior to October 1, 2000, as
they hope to have the clinic functioning by this time in 2001. If you have any
