SR 07-06-2004MEMORANDUM Handout Information TO: Mayor and City Council FROM: Joan Schmidt, City Clerk DATE: July 6, 2004 SUBJECT: Rapid Sports Center Rapid Sports Center received both a transient merchant license and a general planning permit to allow setting up a tent for outdoor boat sales on Corbom's property for the dates of June 25 through June 27, 2004. This morning Tom Marshall of Rapid Sport Marine Center inquired if they could do this same event during July. In checking with Planning Director Michele McPherson, I learned that a general planning permit is valid for the calendar year. A transient merchant license is valid for 30 days within a 365-day timespan. Keeping this in mind I told Mr. Marshall that the permit and license were still valid with the same conditions as before.
