Hiring 2 More Part-time Building Cleaners

Staff has gone through the process to hire two additional part-time building cleaners.
This will bring our cleaning crew to six people for 120 hours per week. The present
early morning cleaning schedule is working well with little to no disruption to office staff
or meeting schedules.
Action Requested:
Council to authorize the hiring of Kandi Nash and Fran Wallace as part-time cleaners
for less than 30 hours each per week and prorated sick time and holiday pay with a
starting pay of $9.50 per hour. This employment offer does not include hospitalization
coverage.
