H RA Update
Councilmember Motin is a member of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA).
The last HRA meeting was held on June 30, 2004.
Action items at the Special Meeting included:
· Adopted a resolution requesting the City Council call for a public hearing on the TIF Plan
for the MetroPlains Downtown Revitalization Project.
· Worksession discussion of a Redevelopment Plan for Downtown North of Highway 10,
including identifIcation of study area boundaries and long-term vision for the study area as
indicated on the attached aerial maps.
The next regular meeting of the HRA is August 2, 2004.

WORKSESSION TO DISCUSS A REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR DOWNTOWN
NORTH OF HWY 10
CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS are considered to be routine and noncontroversial by the HRA and will be
approved by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless an HRA member, staff
member, or citizen so requests, in which case the item will be removed from the consent agenda and
considered in its normal sequence on the agenda.
"This agenda is available in alternate formats upon a 72 hour advanced notice. "Auxiliary aids and services are
also available upon a 72 hour advanced notice. Please contact the City Clerk at 635-1000 to make a request. Examples of
alternate formats may include: large print, Braille, audio tape, etc." Examples of auxiliary aids may include a sign language
interpreter, assistive listening device, etc."
