low HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF ELK. RIVER
August 25 , 1981
Members Present - Commissioners Busch , Duitsman , Hinkle ,
Schumacher and Toth
Members Absent - None
Also Present - Zack Johnson & Jerry Messman of Zack Johnson &
Associates , Inc . ; Doug Johnson & Carl Brownfield of the
Downtown Task Force
Call to Order - The meeting was called to order by Chairman
Schumacher at 7 : 35 p .m.
Minutes - Minutes of the 8/4/81 meeting were approved as
circulated .
Next Meeting - The next meeting was scheduled for Thursday ,
September 17 , 1981 at 7 : 30 p . m. Chairman Schumacher to contact
Bud Houlton regarding -use. of the Community Room at First
National Bank , and to invite a few members of the Downtown
Tack Force to the meeting . Meeting to be a work session with
Zack Johnson & Associates , Inc . regarding the Downtown
Redevelopment Plan .
A public informational meeting regarding the Downtown Redevelopment
Plan was scheduled for Thursday , October 8 , 1981 . Chairman
Schumacher to coordinate time and place with the Chamber of
Commerce . The informational meeting to be the program for the
regular meeting of the Chamber.
Downtown Redevelopment Plan - The balance of the meeting was
a work session with Zack Johnson & Associates , Inc . covering a
variety of issues related to downtown redevelopment planning .
Adjournment - The meeting was adjourned at 9 :30 p .m.
