HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF ELK RIVER
June 24 , 1982
Time & Place - 7 : 30 p. m. at Elk River City Hall
Present - Commissioners Duitsman , Hinkle , Schumacher , Toth and
Tracy
Absent - None
Also present - Bob Middaugh , Zack Johnson , Gene Schuldt , Rob
VanValkenberg and Mel Boyd , Mike Rivard and Dick Krier
representing Elk River Redevelopments , Inc .
Minutes - Minutes of the 5/25/82 meeting were approved as
distributed .
Financial Report - No expenditures to approve since the prior
meeting.
Elk River Redevelopments , Inc . Proposal - The individuals
representing Elk River Redevelopments , Inc . presented their
proposal , including preliminary tax increment analysis , for
redevelopment of the present City Hall site . The proposal was
presented and discussed in detail .
The following resolution was adopted .
Resolved , that the HRA request city attorney Dave Sellergren draft
a motion with appropriate contingencies naming Elk River
Redevelopments , Inc . as tentative redeveloper of the present
City Hall site for a period of six months , such appropriate
contingencies to include that the City Council is agreeable to
and able to relocate the City administrative offices and street
maintenance department based on a $400 ,000 price for the present
City Hall site .
Voting on the motion was as follows : Yes - Commissioners Hinkle ,
Schumacher and Tracy. No - Commissioner Duitsman . Abstain -
Commissioner Toth .
Next Meeting - Tentatively Thursday , July 8th at 8 :00 p .m.
Adjournment - 11 : 30 p. m.
