1. Call Meeting To Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River
Housing and Redevelopment Authority was called to order at 6:08 p.m. by
Chair Hinkle.
2. Consider 11/22/93 HRA Agenda
COMMISSIONER TOTH MOVED TO APPROVE THE 11/22/93 HRA AGENDA.
COMMISSIONER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0.
3. Consider 9/7/93 HRA Minutes
COMMISSIONER TOTH MOVED TO APPROVE THE 9/7/93 HRA MINUTES.
COMMISSIONER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0.
4. Open Mike

5. Consider Contract for Private Development with The Chuba Company
Bill Rubin explained that it is in order for the Elk River HRA to
execute a Contract for Private Development with The Chuba Company in
order for the company to be reimbursed for demolition and site
preparation costs associated with the office/townhouse project at Main
Street and Freeport Avenue. The City of Elk River will also be
executing this Contract for Private Development. In addition, Mr.
Dennis Chuba, owner of The Chuba Company, will be guaranteeing
performance of his company.
Pursuant to the Contract, the Elk River HRA will fund 50% of the
demolition and site preparation costs, up to a maximum cost of
$25,000. This action was approved at the HRA's September 7, 1993,
meeting.
COMMISSIONER SCHULDT MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONTRACT FOR PRIVATE
DEVELOPMENT WITH THE CHUBA COMPANY AND AUTHORIZED CHAIR HINKLE TO SIGN
IT ON BEHALF OF THE HRA. COMMISSIONER TOTH SECONDED THE MOTION. THE
MOTION CARRIED 3-0.
• 6. Statement of Expenses (Parking Lot Improvements)

At this time, HRA Commissioners reviewed the Statement of Expenses •
totalling $32,049.28 for the costs associated with the parking lot
improvements at Jackson Square and the former railroad site.
COMMISSIONER TOTH MOVED TO APPROVE THE STATEMENT OF EXPENSES AS
PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION
CARRIED 3-0.
7. Adjournment
There being no further business, COMMISSIONER TOTH MOVED TO ADJOURN THE
MEETING. COMMISSIONER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED
3-0.
The meeting of the Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority adjourned
at 6:19 p.m.
