Set Special Meeting Date and Time to Canvas Election Results
According to state statute the city is required to canvas the results of the Primary Election
within two days after the Primary. A quorum of the Council acts as the Canvassing Board
and must adopt a resolution certifying the results of the Primary by September 16, 2004.
Action Requested
Council motion calling for a special meeting on Thursday, September 16, 2004 at __
p.m. to canvas the results of the Primary Election.
