6. I. Consider Dates for Joint Meeting with Utilities Commission
We are overdue for a joint meeting between the Utilities Commission and the City Council.
Possible datesjbr /his meeting include:
· Wednesday, August 25 at 6:00 p.m. (following the special meeting to consider the
sign ordinance)
· Monday, August 30 at 6:00 p.m.
· Tuesday, September 7, 2004 (following the regular City Council meeting)
Topics to discuss with the Utilities Commission include the following:
· Maintenance and repair fbr the highway street lights and signals
· Enforcement of the two year utility hook up requirement
· SAC and WAC fees for the downtown redevelopment projects
· City mechanic program
· Future sites for water facilities
· City Hall-Utilities cost sharing for building operatmg expenses
6.2. Call Special Meeting on Wednesday. August 25, 2004
The Planning Commission public hearing on amendments to the city sign ordinance is
scheduled for Tuesday, August 24, 2004. Per Council direction a special City Council
meeting needs to be called for Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at City Hall at 5:30 p.m. As
noted above a joint meetmg with the Utilities Commission could be part of this meeting
agenda.
