A Resolution of the City of Elk River Supporting the Elk River Ambassador
and Royalty Program
WHEREAS, representatives from the Ambassador and Royalty Program are looking for
support from the City of Elk River to establish an official Elk River Ambassador and
Royalty Program; and
WHEREAS, the mission of the Elk River Ambassador and Royalty program is to
empower the youth of Elk River for today, tomorrow, and the future by inspiring self-
confidence and leadership through acts of community service while enriching personal
development and growth with an educational scholarship.
WHEREAS, the Elk River Ambassador and Royalty program is working toward obtaining
designation as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization; and
WHEREAS, the Elk River Ambassador and Royalty program would be of direct benefit to
the City of Elk River and its residents and businesses; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows: an Ambassador and Royalty Program is important
empowerment program for youth and a positive reflection on the City of Elk River.
