Request to hire officer
Our top candidate has made it through all phases of our hiring process and is eligible to be
hired. I am requesting permission to hire Evan Pamllo from Elk River as our final COPS
officer. Evan is a graduate of Elk River high School and received his B.S. degree in Law
Enforcement at Minnesota State University in Mankato. He attended the skills portion of his
police training at Hibbing Community College.
His first date of employment would be Sept. 20, 2004 and he would start at the beginning
wage for patrol officers per the patrol union contract. He would be on probation for a
period of one year. He would be officially sworn in on Sept. 20th at the City Council meeting.
