1. Call Meeting To Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Housing and
Redevelopment Authority was called to order at 5:05 p.m. by Vice Chairman
Toth.
2. Consider May 22, 2000 HRA Agenda
COMMISSIONER THOMPSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE MAY 22, 2000, HRA AGENDA
AS PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER WILSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION
CARRIED 4-0.
• 3. Consider Consent Agenda
Vice Chairman Toth requested that all references to President Kropuenske and
Dwyer be changed to Chairman Kropuenske and that the misspelling of Wilson
be corrected in the April 24, 2000 HRA Minutes.
COMMISSIONER THOMPSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS
FOLLOWS:
3.1. 4/24/2000 HRA MINUTES-APPROVED AS AMENDED
3.2. CHECK REGISTER-APPROVED
COMMISSIONER WILSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0.
4. Open Mike
There was no one present for Open Mike.
5. Public Hearing -Tax Rebate Financinc1(Tax Abatement) Policy
Acting Director of Economic Development, Marc Nevinski reviewed the proposed
Tax Rebate Financing Policy.
Vice Chairman Toth opened the public hearing. There being no one for or
against the matter, Vice Chairman Toth closed the public hearing.
COMMISSIONER WILSON MOVED TO ADOPT THE TAX REBATE FINANCING (TAX
ABATEMENT) POLICY. VICE CHAIRMAN TOTH SECONDED THE MOTION.THE MOTION
CARRIED 4-0.

• 6. King & Main Update
Acting Director of Economic Development Marc Nevinski informed the HRA that
the city closed on the sale of the King Avenue and Main Street site on May 19,
2000, for the amount of$175,000 with proceeds of$173,989 after closing costs.
Marc suggested that the HRA consider applying these funds directly to the
Northbound Liquor debt and another$48,000 to the Self-Insurance Fund. Marc
noted that$50,000 would still be owed to Northbound Liquor.
COMMISSIONER WILSON MOVED TO APPLY THE PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THE
KING AVENUE AND MAIN STREET SITE TOWARDS THE NORTHBOUND LIQUOR DEBT.
COMMISSIONER THOMPSON SECONDED THE MOTION.THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0.
7. Other Business
There was no other business.
8. Adiournment
There being no other business, VICE CHAIR TOTH MOVED TO ADJOURN THE
MEETING. COMMISSIONER THOMPSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION
CARRIED 4-0.
The meeting of the Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority adjourned at
