RI ver To: Energy City Commissioners From: Kristin Mroz,Environmental Technician Date: November 18,2015 Subject: Supplemental Agenda Information 5.1 University of St Thomas—Sustainable Communities Partnership The University of St.Thomas in St.Paul is beginning,a pilot program called the Sustainable Community Partnership.This is similar to the UofM Resilient Communities Partnership that has been in progress for years and is one of our Energy City 10-Year Action Plan tasks. Community partners are selected to partner with classes from every topic to work on real community projects in sustainability efforts. We have been selected to work with UST along with Delano and the Mississippi Watershed Organization for the 2016-17 school years.
