I, Duane Kropuenske, Housing and Redevelopment Authority Chair,
hereby request a special meeting of the HRA on March 10, 1998, at 6:00
p.m. to be held at the Elk River City Hall, 13065 Orono Parkway.
The purpose of the meeting is to meet jointly with the Planning Commission
in a worksession setting to discuss the downtown master plan for the City of
Elk River.
In accordance with State Statute, I hereby request the city clerk to post this
IInotice at least three days prior to the meeting date. I further request the city
clerk to notify each member of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of
this special meeting, in writing, at least one day before the meeting.

I, Tom Mesich, Planning Commission Chair, hereby request a special
meeting of the Planning Commission on March 10, 1998, at 6:00 p.m. to be
held at the Elk River City Hall, 13065 Orono Parkway.
The purpose of the meeting is to meet jointly with the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority in a worksession setting to discuss the downtown
master plan for the City of Elk River.

SUBJECT:: Joint Planning Commission/HRA/Rivers
Edge Meeting
A joint Planning Commission/HRA/Rivers Edge meeting
will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 1998, at 6 p.m., in the
Training Room at City Hall for the purpose of hearing a
presentation by the City of Monticello and Monticello
Community Partners on a Downtown Master Plan.
• It was previously believed that Tuesday, March 10 was caucus night, but
since the HRA meeting it has been discovered that this is not the case. Staff
then proceeded to schedule this joint meeting to hear the Monticello
presentation.
Staff will be providing a short packet to all participants prior to the meeting
date. Staff has also invited Chamber representatives to this meeting. If you
are unable to make the meeting, please call me at 441-4905.
