I. Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Energy City
Commission was called to order by Chuba at 8:36 a.m.
2. Pledge of Allegiance
Chuba led the Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Consider Agenda
Moved by Westgaard and seconded by Flatland to approve the August 19,
2015 Energy City Commission agenda.
4. Consider Consent Agenda
Moved by Curtis and seconded by Westgaard to approve the consent agenda.
5.1 ERMU 100 Year Celebration Table
Mroz gave the staff update and invited commissioners to attend the celebration
August 27, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the County Fairgrounds. Commissioners signed
up for table coverage.
6. Presentation
6.1 Andy Bergrud of Great River Energy presented information regarding the Great
River Energy solar project located at their headquarters in Maple Grove as well as
information about their community solar installations throughout Minnesota. The
presentation was recorded and will be available publically.
7. Next Meeting Agenda Items (TBD)
7.1 A CNG presentation is still unscheduled. Staff will reach out to ACE Solid Waste
next.
8. Announcements
8.1 Commissioner Updates
Rydberg is continuing to look for a Chamber of Commerce representative for the
commission.
Westgaard mentioned that the budget workshop went well and a future discussion
about recycling may include Energy City Commission comments and support.
8.2 Staff Updates
Mroz gave updates per the memo in the agenda packet.
8. Adjournment

THE MEETING.
