Designate Official Newspaper It is appropriate and recommended that the HRA designate the Elk River Star News as its official newspaper for the year 1999, following such designation by the Economic Development Authority and City Council. 5.3. Discuss Post Office Relocation Issue Attached to this memo is a letter which staff sent to the postal service regarding,discussions of relocation of their operations which are currently located in the Elk River central business district. This letter states that the HRA and EDA would cooperate to aid in the relocation of their distribution facilities and retail services facility in separate locations. Staff would like for the HRA to consider theconcept of providing the King and Main lot to a developer at possibly a reduced price in order to provide an incentive to the postal service to locate on the site as a primary tenant. 7. Other Business 7.1. Change the February HRA Meeting Date to the 3rd Monday - February 15, 1999 7.2.
