■ The Council is asked to publically recognize Detective Sergeant Vita for his 30 years of service to
the residents of Elk River.
■ Mayor Dietz is asked to read and present a plaque to Detective Sergeant Bryan Vita.
Background/Discussion
Bryan has served the citizens of Elk River and the Elk River Police Department since November 6, 1985.
Since that time,he has served as Patrol Officer,DARE Officer,Juvenile Investigator,Adult Investigator,
and Detective Sergeant. Sergeant Vita has also been a commander of the Elk River Honor Guard since
2001.
