SUBJECT: Set Special Meeting Date and Time to Canvass General Election
Results
According to state statute the city is required to canvass the results of the General Election
within seven days after the General Election. A quorum of the Council acts as the
Canvassing Board and must adopt a resolution certifying the results of the General Election
by November 9, 2004.
Action Requested
Council motion calling for a special meeting on Monday, November 8, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. to
canvass the results of the General Election.
