Request to fill receptionist position
Recently the council approved our request to fill the newly created additional police records
clerk position. Since that approval, our police receptionist has requested to be considered for
that assignment.
Kris Thomas, the current receptionist is qualified for that position and we would request
approval from the council to move her into that position at the appropriate pay grade when
her current position can be filled. (pay grade 6)
We would also request that instead of advertising and hiring for that position, we advertise
and hire for the position of police receptionist, a pay grade 5 position.
