SUBJECT: Sale ofthe old hockey boards from the barn
Arena staff advertised the sale of the used boards in the Elk River Star News and received
one bid of $1,068. On September 28, the Ice Arena Commission met in a special session and
voted unanimously to recommend that the City Council accept the bid and authorize the sale
of the used boards for $1,068.
Please fInd attached a resolution accepting bid and authorizing sale of the used hockey
boards.
RESOLUTION 04-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF
USED HOCKEY BOARDS FROM THE ICE ARENA/BARN
WHERAS Competitive bids were solicited for the sale of the used boards from the
Ice Arena/Barn; and
WHERAS One bid was received and the Ice Arena Commission having reviewed
this bid has recommended accepting it.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to sell the used hockey
boards from the Ice ArenalBam, to Mr. Douglas Bryan of 17543 Cleveland St.
NW, Elk River, MN, for the sum of$I,068.73.
