Receive information on the Housing Rehabilitation Program.
Background/Discussion
Six projects have been completed to date and two more are currently under construction. One project is
in the initial bidding stage. Over$167, 044 has been disbursed over the three-year rehabilitation program
period.
A direct mailing was sent out in January and a color ad ran in the winter publication of the city's Current
Newsletter. These two marketing initiatives increased the exposure to the program as staff has received
several phone calls from residents interested in learning more about the program. Staff is tracking the
phone calls and the location of the interested residents.
