Angela Hauge was promoted to our new Mapping Technician and Tony Hubbard was promoted to Electrician\Technician. • The Locating department had a total of 140 locate tickets in December; one of them being an emergency ticket, one cancellation, four meetings, 108 normal tickets and 19 updated tickets. • In December, the Security Systems Department had a total of 90 phone contacts, 10 systems quoted, four system sales made, seven installs completed, 32 service calls and 10 personal visits. The 2015 statistics are as follows: 615 phone contacts, 52 systems quoted, 36 system sales made,47 installs completed, 175 service calls and 51 personal visits. • Electric Technicians continue with the meter reading,power bill, substation checks, hanging g g red-tags, meter read-outs, dealing with meter and off-peak issues, as well as delivering and installing new meters to commercial customers. They continue to change out the three phase meters with meters that will be read by radio ERT. Meter change outs in Area la and lb are nearly complete and we've now turned our efforts to effective auditing of these areas acquired from Connexus. 1 • The power plant staff did the monthly engine run on December 16th. All engines ran well with no problems. • I attended the 2015 Technical &Operations conference in St. Cloud, MN on December 15th- 17th. The conference was very informative and I learned a great deal about rates and Automated Metering. Great conference. I appreciate the opportunity to attend. • ERMU has sent a notice of cancelation of the contract with Great River Energy for generation capacity. The contract will terminate May 31, 2016.
