Improvement Project and Plat Status Report/Schedule
Below is a status report/schedule that allows for fall/winter new business construction:
• Council approves plans/specs for first phase utilities and July 18 (Completed)

Public Infrastructure Grant
On June 22, 2005, staff submitted a grant proposal in the amount of$495,000 to the
Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) based on the
entire improvement project. Public Infrastructure grant funds are available from DEED for
up to 50% of the capital cost of the infrastructure. The City Council adopted a resolution
authorizing the grant application and certifying the availability of its 50%match (to be
provided by bonds and special assessment to the EDA). Staff has not received a response
from DEED regarding the grant application.
