Issue
Dave Rymanowski,President of First National Bank of Elk River has expressed interest in
• becoming a member of the EDA Finance Committee. Mr. Rymanowski will be in
attendance at the EDA meeting to answer any questions the EDA might have.
Background
The Finance Committee is composed of EDA members,business professionals, and area
bankers. One representative from each area bank,if interested,is represented on the
Finance Committee. Due to Committee member Tom McNair's change of employment
from First National Bank to The Bank of Elk River,there are now two representatives from
The Bank of Elk River serving on the Finance Committee,Mr. McNair and Jim Simpson.
Therefore, Mr. Simpson has offered to resign from the Committee after serving on the
Committee since its inception in 1986. Staff would like to thank Mr. Simpson for his
eighteen years of service to the Finance Committee! Mr. Simpson will remain a member of
the Marketing Committee.
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the EDA consider the appointment of Dave Rymanowski to the
EDA Finance Committee.

Gongoll originally contacted me a few weeks ago to inquire as to our interest in having our bank represented on the
committee. As you know, Tom McNair joined the committee when he was a First National employee, and he is no
longer with our organization.
I have over 20 years of commercial banking experience, and have spent most of my career focusing on providing
financing and other banking services to small and medium-sized businesses. I appreciate your consideration. Please
