Discussion of request to hold event at Lion John Weicht Park and Lions Park Center.
Approval by motion for the American Cancer Society to hold their Relay for life event at Lions John
Weicht Park and Lions Park Center with the following provisions:
• Park rental fee be waived.
• Damage deposit of$250.
• Group will pay for usage of Lions Park Center based on current rental rate policy.
• Group will pay cost of extra items such as portable toilets,trash pick-up as needed.
• No marking of any kind are to be made on the trails. Cones and signs may be used.
• No motorized vehicles are to be used on the trails.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
• The Little Lambs Christian Learning Center has requested the use of Lion John Weicht Park and
Lions Park Center to hold their Relay for Life event.
• The event is scheduled for Saturday,August 6
• Approximately 200 participants are expected.
