SUBJECT: Meeting Cancellation & Special Meeting Notice
Due to a lack of pressing agenda items, the June 11`h EDA meeting has been cancelled by
order of the EDA President,Jeff Gongoll.
Special Meeting...Tuesday,June 12, 2001 -
A Special Meeting of the EDA has been called for Tuesday,June 12, 2001. This special
meeting is a follow-up discussion of the Business Park design standards with the Planning
Commission. The Business Park agenda item is anticipated for discussion at 8:00 PM.
•• Please refer to the attached meeting information prepared by Director of Planning,Michele
McPherson. Also attached is a copy of the minutes from the May joint meeting with the
Planning Commission.
Looking ahead...July Agenda items -
Attached for your review are the minutes from the May 14th EDA meeting.
The next regularly scheduled EDA meeting is July 9`h.
The July meeting agenda will include discussion of the following items:
* Marketing Plan Update
*Business Incubator Update
* Consider rezoning of I1 (Light Industrial) to PUD (Planned Unit Development)
Elk River Station Development
Enclosed you will find the new marketing folder and inserts that were created as part of the
Customer Service/Siting&Expansion process. The new folders allow room to enclose a
formal business siting proposal, and includes the new"How to Site Your Business in the
City of Elk River"location guide, Customer Requirements form, and Development Update
newsletter.
