Harlan and Mark,
I have checked with our building inspectors regarding the septic system ii
at the incubator and their response is that the system is already
overloaded. Apparently the drainfields were designed only to accomodate
the restroom facilities and only as a temporary fix. Subsequnetly, the
septic system would be ruined almost instantly by 300 gallons per day.
Sewer and water is not far from the incubator. It extends along highway
10 as far east as 171st Ave (i.e. Stoplight by Bridgemans) . I am looking
into what plans are in place for extending it further east down hwy 10.
The planning dept. tells me that any extentions will likely be developer
driven and a meaningful time frame for that is unknown.
I will pass this information on the Larry Hickman and the EDA.
Sincerely
Marc

[Fwd: Elk River Incubator Facilities]
Hi Marc,
Here is a copy of a letter I sent to Harlan Jacobs detailing the changes
needed for the Elk River facility. It includes the estimated water
consumption both immediate and further out.
