SUBJECT: Upcoming Meeting
The purpose of this memo is to notify the EDA of an upcoming Council
meeting to discuss various financial aspects of the east Elk River/Hohlen
redevelopment/TIF 19 project. This meeting is scheduled to occur after a
joint meeting with the Council and School Board which begins at 6 p.m. on
Monday, January 25, 1999. It is anticipated the joint School Board/Council
meeting will last at least one hour with the east Elk River discussion
beginning immediately thereafter.
If you have any questions or comments prior to this meeting regarding the
IIIagenda item, please feel free to give me a call at 441-4905.
Additionally, Jim Brimeyer has indicated the assistant director of economic
development position profile has been completed and is scheduled for
distribution to an extensive mailing list on Tuesday, January 19, 1999. Staff
will distribute the completed position profile to EDA members for your
information as soon as it is available.
