City of Elk River
Paul Steinman
FAX: (612)441-7425
Dear Paul,
Thank you so much for your phone call yesterday regarding updating your City
video. I know you have had much expansion over the last four years. Congnnulations!I
Alter reviewing the fax you sent up and taking a look at the programa,we have
outlined the below budget for updating this program. Since there looks like a lot of
additions,we feel it would be beneficial to re-cut the whole audio track so that we can
match the new video with the old in a flowing manner. That would also means re-writing
portions to coincide with the additions. We can handle all of that for you.
With that in mind, here are the members we can up with for completing this re-edit:
ID PROJECT COST PER UNIT ESTIMATED TIME TOTAL
ScriP — --- $ 100.00
Location Production $1265 per day V.day $ 650.00
On-line editing $110 per hour 10 hours $1,100.00
Graphic Production $65 per hour 2 hours $ 130.00
Plrofeadonal Narrator — — $ 200.00
1,1_5_0.00
TOTALALFOR PROJECT — — $2,330.00
The original cost of the video was $5,890.00 plus expenses,so it looks like we can
get a whole new video for about 1/3 of the price. This budget gives us the flexibility to
create a fresh looking piece.
Paul, thanks again and please give me a call with any questions or concerns. Since
everything is and looking good right now,so we should probably move on this pretty
soon. ;!
