Issue/Recommendation
At the last EDA meeting, staff was directed to provide a recommendation on
a Business Incubator Advisory Committee. After further discussion with
prospective committee participants, staff recommends the following
appointments be made to the Business Incubator Advisory Committee:
• • Tom Bender EDA Representative
• Jeff Gongoll EDA Representative
• Daryl Thompson EDA/Council Representative
• Larry Hickman Business Incubator Partner/EDA Landlord
• Kermit Bode Small Business Representative (Custom
Cutter Grinding)
• Rich Duggan Small Business Representative (Marketech)
• Jim Barthel Small Business Representative (Elk River
Machine)
• Jack Mowry Small Business Representative (Metal Craft
Machine)
• Harlan Jacobs Ex-Officio/Consultant
• Paul Steinman Ex-Officio/Staff
The first opportunity for a meeting of the Incubator Advisory Committee will
be on Tuesday, March 25th, 5:00 p.m. at City Hall to view a product
presentation by MAS Technologies, Inc. More information will be distributed
to the Committee prior to this meeting.
