SUBJECT: Business Incubator Worksession
On March 4, 1996, the EDA held a business incubator worksession. Anoka
County Capital Fund Executive Director Roger Jenson and Harlan Jacobs,
president of Genesis, Inc., were in attendance at this meeting to discuss the
successes they have experienced with the Anoka County business incubator
model. Everyone believes that this model can be reproduced in Elk River and
our challenge is to see how this can be accomplished.
It is appropriate for the EDA to discuss the next steps in moving forward
with this project.
