APPLICATION
As you are aware, the City of Elk River is one of the finalist for the
Minnesota Environmental Initiative's "Sustainable City Showcase". In fact,
Elk River is supposed to be the city to beat.
Attached to this memo is the application form from the Minnesota
Environmental Initiative and the City's response. In the City's application,
the EDA will see that Elk River received a huge amount of support from the
community as a whole. United Power Association's support is particularly
helpful.
• The decision on what city is selected will be made in July.
