Economic Development Program
io A joint meeting of the groups listed above has been scheduled for.August 12,
1996, at 6:30 p.m., in the Training Room at Elk River City Hall.
The purpose of the joint meeting will be to continue discussions on the city's
economic development program. Staff would also like to take this
opportunity to provide a brief overview of an economic development strategic
planning process.
This meeting will also provide an opportunity for me, as the new Director of
Economic Development, to take part in a comprehensive discussion of
economic development issues in the City of Elk River.
I look forward to a productive joint meeting between all participants and the
eventual development of a strategic plan of action to accomplish the city's
economic development priorities.
