SUBJECT: CONFLICT OF INTEREST ORDINANCE
The City Attorney will be present at the Economic Development Authority
meeting to discuss this agenda item. It is anticipated that Mr. Beck will have
some information to hand out to the Authority on the Conflict of Interest
topic. He has received direction from the Council that our ordinance should
be revised to conform with the language in current state law. Mr. Beck will
advise the EDA as to how compliance to the state law affects individual
. Authority members.
Following input from the EDA on the revised ordinance, Mr. Beck will make
a similar presentation to the Planning Commission. After input from the
Planning Commission, the ordinance and appropriate comments will be
forwarded to the City Council.
