SUBJECT: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POSITION
At the EDA annual business meeting in January, 1994, I was reappointed as
the Executive Director for the EDA. At that meeting, and at the January,
1993 EDA annual meeting, there was some discussion about appointing
Economic Development Coordinator Bill Rubin as the Executive Director for
the EDA. In February, 1994, the City Council passed a motion that
recommended to the EDA that it appoint Bill Rubin, Economic Development
Coordinator, as the EDA Executive Director. In conjunction with this
motion, a minor pay adjustment was authorized to, in part, reflect the
• increased responsibility that comes with this position and title. I support
this City Council request to the EDA.
In order to formalize the process of appointing Bill Rubin as the Executive
Director for the EDA, I would offer my resignation from this position
conditioned upon the EDA subsequently approving a motion appointing Bill
as its Executive Director.
