SUBJECT: PROSPECT STATUS REPORT
The following is a summary of new industrial and commercial
prospects that have expressed an interest in locating in the
City of Elk River since the last EDA meeting.
NEW PROSPECTS
1 . Automotive Parts Distributor - Northern Automotive
Company, 12795 16th Avenue North, Plymouth, Minnesota,
distributes A/C Delco Products to a five state area. The
company seeks a 20,000+ square foot warehouse that is
suitable for distributing the auto parts . The company
contact was put in touch with Alltool Manufacturing
regarding its available warehouse. In addition, the
• contact was alerted to available industrial sites in Elk
River.
2 . Wholesale Electrical Supply Company An Eden Prairie
businessman contacted City Hall regarding the availability
of approximately 4,500 square feet of office/warehouse
space suitable for his wholesale electrical supply
business . This individual was put in touch with three
property owners whose space matches the businessman' s
needs .
3 . Village Sample Industries This company deals in
seasonal holiday products and desires short-term lease
space of approximately 2,500 square feet. The company was
put in touch with landlords which possess that size of
available space.
PREVIOUSLY LISTED PROSPECTS
1 . Trend Scientific Staff remains in contact with this
New Brighton-based medical product company. Thecompany
seeks a suitable site for the construction of a 25,000 to
411 30,000 square foot facility. The company prepares and
distributes agent-based diagnostic test kits .

evaluating the final lot in the Meadowvale Commercial Park.
3 . BRUMAR - The Central Minnesota Initiative Fund will
consider a loan request from BRUMAR at its meeting during
the week of November 8th.
4 . Woodsmen Quality Products - This company has a purchase
agreement on a 1 .4 acre site in the Meadowvale Commercial
Park and the EDA will consider an $18,750 Micro Loan at
its November 8th meeting.
