WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the corni-nunity; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $10,000.00 donation frorn Great River
Energy with the intent it be used by The 111k River Police Department for the purchase of
new ballistic helmets and vests.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend. Great River Energy for their donation.
I I he motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilinernber
01 sen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof -
Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Olsen, Westgaard, Burandt, and Wagner
and the following against: no one whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The following members were present: Mayor john .1. - Di erz, Cojinci ]members Jerry -
Olsen, Matt Westgaard, Barbara Burandt, and Jennifer Yagner,
and the following absent: none.
